rankmaniac 2012, as we have discussed before tries to understand the basic idea of page ranking. Specifically rankmaniac 2012 is aimed at understanding image ranking by Google and by Bing. Different groups of students at Caltech have put up pages on rankmaniac 2012 and are trying different strategies to see how to get images up on google image search.

Various strategies that are used by rankmaniac 2012 will be used to understand how pageranking is different from image ranking. Better ways to optimize image ranking can be empirically found out from rankmaniac 2012.
